DESCRIPTION

KRANEKS is successfully implementing a commercial and production programme providing attachments for mining equipment.

This programme is mainly intended for organisations operating heavy mining excavators with buckets of 4 – 25 cubic metres capacity.

The aim of the programme is to produce buckets that are no cheap alternative to original items but match them in quality, being best adapted to our diverse climatic and always tougher operating conditions.

Currently more than 100 companies throughout our country and beyond its frontiers have chosen KRANEKS buckets as worthy equivalent products.

Our staff are ready to develop the optimal mining bucket design and accessories best meeting your particular needs, taking into account your specific operating conditions.

We constantly monitor and offer warranty service for the buckets delivered by us.

Certification

KRANEKS is one of only a few Russian companies with which SSAB Oxelȍsund AB has signed an agreement concerning the HARDOX In My Body trademark.

Each bucket designed and made at KRANEKS Machinery Group has its own HARDOX In My Body label with an 8-digit identification number confirming that all KRANEKS bucket wear parts are made from HARDOX steel.

KRANEKS Company’s management system, from design to servicing, is certified according to ISO 9001:2000 quality management system.

All our products are certified for conformity.

Production process

Bucket parts are cut at our KRANEKS-KOMATSU joint venture, using modern high-tech equipment to ensure high quality all cutting work.

Advanced welding techniques and the latest equipment ensure high weld strength characteristics.

Bucket components are welded using Esab materials and Kemppi semi-automatic welding machines with shielding gas comprising argon (80%) and carbon dioxide (20%).

Ultrasonic weld inspection precludes any weld defects.

All stages of production are supervised by engineers who have undergone training at plants in Japan and Europe.

Buckets are manufactured using steel from SSAB and Severstal, possessing enhanced strength and wear resistance.

SCOPE OF SUPPLY

KRANEKS Company has been designing and producing buckets for mining equipment since 2008. Since 2011 the company has switched over to series production of face shovels and backhoes for mining excavators and front loaders manufactured by Komatsu, Hitachi, Caterpillar, Terex, Liebherr, Volvo and others.

Our design department is continually working on improving the customer performance of its mining buckets. Taking into account customer requirements and specific operating conditions, our company’s staff are developing and producing new types of mining buckets fully complying with all requirements regarding equipment durability, reliability and safety.

CAST FITTINGS PRODUCED BY KRANEKS MACHINERY GROUP

KRANEKS Machinery Group is implementing its foundry division’s project for the production of cast mining bucket fittings.

KRANEKS currently produces the following fittings: lip, vertical and wing shrouds for excavators of 70-120 ton weigh. These fittings have successfully completed laboratory tests, fully confirming rated characteristics.

The first lots of bucket fittings from KRANEKS have been delivered for testing in user operating conditions at quarries and mines in Karelia and Kuzbass.

Information about our production lip, vertical and wing shrouds may be obtained at exhibitions in which KRANEKS Machinery Group participates or by visiting our head office or regional representative offices.

KVX SYSTEM

This system, which we offer for excavators of 0.5 – 300 tons, is best known as applicable to medium size machines (12-80 tons). Extensive use is made of standard parts, but we also offer customised solutions, if necessary. Any machine, whether a mini or giant excavator, can be equipped with our wear-resistant components.

Advantages of the KVX system

  1. 1. Absence of typical problems related to welding processes.
  2. Reduces overall thickness of cutting edge systems, giving you deeper bucket penetration in soil and significantly higher labour efficiency.
  3. Requires practically no servicing, thus reducing downtime and labour costs and providing prolonged continuous operation.
  4. Ensures highly reliable and predictable results at each change of components.
  5. Permits reuse of wear parts, from tooth crowns to lips.

KVX system with one bolt

This system uses one bolt for securing to the bucket edge, and for all makes. Simply align the bolt with the bucket edge projections and insert it. Rapid and simple fastening to save your time and money.

The new KVX E2 system means two systems in one!

Today it is possible to mount two different KVX bolt systems on one KVX bucket edge:

  1. Standard with reverse teeth.
  2. New E2 with 500 HB couplers and quick change tooth crown.
